Nickster was the founder of Goldeneye Source. Previously he was a very involved level designer. One of the mods he work on was called “Project XX7”. After Project XX7 fell apart due to HL2 being delayed yet again a bug was planted in his head.. a “BOND” bug. A few months later EnzoMatrix and Nickster were both chatting on msn. Both were members of Project XX7. After a few days GoldenEye: Source was born.
Nick was one of the greatest people involved with the mod. He kept things working when everything went down the drains. A prime example would be when we had our first coder. He was onboard for about six months and did completely nothing. After many flame sessions in the private dev forums Nickster was able to rid of us our problems with a little joke and eventually found Scott.
None of us will ever forget Nick. May he be gaming with the gods now.
